Free Webinar Series - CV to Interview to New Job

Change has landed upon us all this year courtesy of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Many of you have been in touch to let us know that you’ve been made redundant and are seeking new opportunities and we’ve been speaking to some of you and directing you to our career site to upload your latest CV (and portfolio if relevant to what you do).

People have also been asking about updating their CV’s and with this in mind we have created a free webinar series of 3 episodes, focusing on the fashion and creative industries with a takeaway guide.

The webinar focuses on putting yourself in the best position to get noticed in a saturated and contracting market. However, as with all revolutions, it is about saying goodbye to the old and embracing the new. The landscape ahead will offer opportunities for invention, expansion and growth. As a job seeker, the challenge is to stay informed, keep an open mind and cast a wide net.

Episode one focuses on CV Writing, Cover Letters and Market Research and acts as a map in terms of where to start and how to create an impactful CV, using the free tools available on the internet along with a compelling well-written covering letter. It will last an hour and include a Q&A at the end.

In episode two, we will dive further into market research, exploring transferable experience within the fashion and creative industries and beyond. We will also look at how to completely pivot if you are thinking of pursuing a new career passion.

In episode three, we will be talking about interview techniques from preparation and research through to Zoom interviews and the different interview stages including projects.

At the end of each session, there will be a Q&A, so that you can ask questions and make notes. Each episode will be accompanied by a pdf, which will be emailed.

If you’re feeling stuck or looking for some inspiration, sign up and join us on Thursday 30th July at 12 midday. https://www.fashionheaveninc.com/webinars
